THE VOYAGER - WHEN IN ENGLAND

THE VOYAGER
When in England

Celebrating the timeless charm of the English Countryside, rich in history, culture, architecture and design.
There is nothing quite like the English countryside for rural escapes with its patchwork hills, dramatic dales, ancient woodlands and winding country roads. Our team spent unforgettable moments, capturing Luxe Hapsal pieces in such unique and charming locations. We were especially enchanted by the beauty of the lush gardens and the attention to the smallest detail in their designs.

The Cotswolds
The Cotswolds is a picturesque region in south-central England, known for its rolling hills, charming villages, and distinctive honey-colored limestone buildings. Stretching across several counties—including Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire, and Worcestershire—it covers an area of about 800 square miles and is officially designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Famous for its idyllic countryside, historic market towns (like Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Chipping Campden), and scenic walking trails (including part of the Cotswold Way), the area attracts visitors looking for a quintessential English experience. The region’s rich history, dating back to Roman and medieval times, is evident in its architecture, ancient churches, and manor houses.

Popular with hikers, foodies, and history lovers alike, the Cotswolds offers a peaceful escape, blending rural beauty with cultural heritage and charming hospitality.

Chatsworth House

Chatsworth House is a grand stately home located in Derbyshire, England, within the scenic Peak District National Park. It has been the seat of the Duke of Devonshire and the Cavendish family since the 16th century and is considered one of the most magnificent country houses in the UK.

Famed for its Baroque architecture, lavish interiors, and extensive art collection—including works by Rembrandt, Gainsborough, and Lucian Freud—Chatsworth offers a rich glimpse into British aristocratic life. The house is surrounded by 1,000 acres of parkland, designed by the famous landscape architect Capability Brown, as well as beautifully maintained gardens, fountains, a maze, and a working farmyard.

Chatsworth is open to the public and often hosts exhibitions, events, and seasonal markets. It has also featured in various films and TV shows, notably Pride and Prejudice (2005), where it represented Mr. Darcy’s estate, Pemberley.

A blend of history, art, and natural beauty, Chatsworth House is a must-see for culture lovers and visitors to the Peak District.
